Responsibilities:
Global manufacturer of electronics products seeks an experienced Bilingual (Japanese) Quality Manager who will assist in developing the activities concerned with creation, application, and maintenance of quality standards for the manufacture and repair and test processes of LCD TV panels. Coordinates and plans all activities concerning New Product Introduction into process. Performs all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, exercising reasonable regard for his or her own safety, the safety of others, and the safety and security of company property. Functional Requirements Essential Functions include but are not limited to: · Performs quality system audits. · Provides statistical analysis of service processes and suggests changes as required. · Monitors inspection and repair reports and recommends actions to prevent recurring problems. · Provides quality engineering support for external and internal customers. · Visit customer site to explain our quality improvement activity · May travel to coordinate project activities in Mexico area. · Provides customer on-site support for rescreening or rework needs. · Coordinates with Japan factory for all new products being assigned to the operation. (parts procurement and technical literature and documentation) · Provides Japanese/English translation support. · Coordinates buffer stock needs. Position Specifications
