Responsibilities:
Manufacturer of automotive parts seeks a Bilingual (Japanese) Product Engineer in Japan. Responsibilities include: (1) Expanding business in the United States, Japan, China and other Asian markets (2) Developing and designing energy impact management parts such as bumper reinforcement beams, plastic energy absorbers and other crash resistant products (3) Planning and executing a strategic plan for technical aspects of our product lines and customers (4) Utilizing a strategic plan and cadence chart to focus activities based on customer needs and market trends (5) Discussing and / or selling our technical advantages to OEM engineers in face to face meetings (6) Supporting our sales group with any technical aspects of our products (7) Benchmarking competitors products and observing market trends and emerging technologies (8) Identifying and setting appointments with key stakeholders within the OEM and supplier communities
