Responsibilities:
(1)Responsible for supervision of Design personnel. Provides engineering support to design engineers, mechanical designer, and 2-D &3D CAD Designers. Maintain and improve Engineering QMS system. (2) Reviews all engineering specs, drawings, and engineering documents for mass production before releasing products (designs new parts, creates assembly and parts drawings, produces construction table, and issues engineering specifications/correspondence). (3) Conducts value engineering/value analysis and design review. Evaluates current and new products for product availability and cost impact. Incorporates customer response into final design changes. Implements design change into production cycle. (4) Assists in the review of engineering specifications and coordinates initial timing for new products (drawings, prototypes, trial production, and parts delivery). (5) Reviews customer approval drawings, engineering specifications, and packaging specifications. Requests and coordinates timing of approval sample preparation and quality control data. Interfaces with the customer.
