Job: Senior Automotive Strategic Marketing Manager

Position Summary:
I am looking for a Senior Automotive Strategic Marketing Manager for our client in their Head office in Phoenix, AZ or Tokyo office.  Our client is one of the world’s largest providers of outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services.   As an individual contributor, this role will work in a matrixed environment and will be responsible for strategic marketing and business development efforts in the automotive space. The position will be based at their corporate office in Tempe, AZ or Japan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify market trends and strategic automotive applications

• Craft and articulate Automotive value proposition
  • Work across internal functions to align automotive capabilities and best practices
  • Assist with Marcom efforts to promote automotive efforts externally

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s and MBA preferred)
• 5-10+ years in the semiconductor or automotive industry in Marketing, Business Development, Product Line Management, or Program Management
• Experience with automotive systems, semiconductors and customers
• Expertise in automotive standards and requirements
• Experience with semiconductor assembly and test is preferred
• Previous experience working with customers in the US, EU, Japan and China
• Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders that are spread across the company
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal efforts between business units, factories, quality and sales functions
• The successful candidate will be self-directed and self-driven
• International travel is required
