Global manufacturer in the automotive industry seeks a bilingual Payroll & Benefit Specialist.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate payroll for Expats
  • Offset the expense of Expats
  • Coordinate Tax return
  • Communicate and report to HR
  • Update Employee Loan Contract
  • Assist with labor management of Expats
  • Assist with Visa issued for Expats
  • Assist in planning company events
  • Conduct audits invoices reconcile expenses of benefit plans and programs to ensure accurate reporting and timely payment of invoices and reimbursements
  • Assist with benefit administration
  • Working with insurance brokers
  • Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators
  • Provide ongoing support for benefits
  • Assist with company performance management program
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system
  • Assist with wellness program
  • Translate from English/Japanese to Japanese/English
  • Interpret from English/Japanese to Japanese/English
  • Create and update reports
  • Assist with 401k administration
  • Other HR/Admin related duties as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English is a must
  • 2-3 years experience in payroll

 

  1. Experience in benefit administration preferred.
  2. Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skill sets.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational and data management skills.
  5. Knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EE OC and OFCCP preferred.
  6. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to payroll, cafeteria plan, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and the Affordable Care Act preferred.
