Salary $55-60K plus bonus
Job Information

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchasing- 30%
. Plan product orders to the vendors and affiliated companies; ensures orders are accurate, correct, and received according to planned schedule.
. Communicates with the vendors and affiliated companies regarding product prices, specifications and product ordering.
. Monitors Inventory levels.
Customer Service – 30%
. Communicates with existing customers by phone, e-mail,facsimile and teleconference tool.
. Answers product inquiries and requests from customers.
. Adjusts complaints concerning billing or products, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation.
. Builds and maintains customers’ relationships.
. Proceed “FAR (Failure Analysis Request)” from the customer and complete/finalize it with the supplier.
. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
Business Development – 20%
. Travels throughout assigned territory to discuss their production schedule, answer questions.
. Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Project Management – 10%
. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
. Manage the relationship with the customers and suppliers.
. Use and continually develop leadership skills
. Flexible travel schedule, as this position may require several out of state business trips and occasional overseas business trips.
Other & Miscellaneous – 10%
. Makes efforts to gain product knowledge and familiarize with the product markets.
. Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
. Works with Inside Sales Rep to keep account activities up to date.

Education & Work Experience
. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of
  education and related experience.
. Between two to four years of previous experience in a similar position.
